Dr. Daniel Tellem graduated from the University of Rochester in 1998, with a B.S. in Molecular Genetics. He attended medical school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, and graduated in 2002 with his D.P.M. degree. He then completed a three year podiatric surgical residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. He joined the Westside Podiatry Group as an associate in 2005, and became a partner in the practice in 2008.
Dr. Tellem is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a fellow of the America College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is also an active member of American Podiatric Medical Association, New York Podiatric Medical Association, and Monroe County Medical Society. He is on staff at Unity Hospital, Rochester General Hospital, Westfall Surgical Center, Brighton Surgery Center, and Wyoming County Community Health System.
Podiatric interests of Dr. Tellem include but are not limited to: reconstruction of the forefoot, diabetic limb salvage, and tendon pathology/disorders and their repair.
