If you are experiencing any of these issues- or if you have any other concerns for your feet- schedule an appointment today.
Heel Pain/ Plantar Fasciitis
Heel pain, often considered to be Plantar Fasciitis, involves inflammation of the plantar tendon; causing sharp pain at the bottom of your heel and tightness in the bottom of your foot. At Westside Podiatry we offer all-inclusive treatment plans that start with an x-ray and can vary from plans for inserts and physical therapy, to laser treatment and possible surgical correction.
Arthritis/ Osteoarthritis
Pain, stiffness and swelling in the joints of the feet can be caused by arthritis. If you are experiencing arthritis pain, our team at Westside Podiatry can offer an in-office x-ray at the time of your scheduled appointment to determine the source of the pain. Together, we will create a treatment plan that varies from conservative to possible surgical options based on your needs and lifestyle.
Corns and Calluses
Corns and calluses are formed from hardened skin and can develop from a nuisance issue to a source of pain. At your appointment at any of our Westside Podiatry locations, your podiatrist will examine your feet to determine the cause problem and take action to reduce the symptoms through a number of treatment options.
Bunions and Hammer Toes
Bunions are noticeable bumps on the inside of the foot, typically found around the big toe joint. Hammer toes are stiffened curled toes that bend and point downward. Both issues are known to cause pain when wearing shoes and in the joints surrounding the problem area. At Westside Podiatry, we treat bunions and hammer toes on a regular basis. Our locations offer an in-office x-ray evaluation during your scheduled appointment where we determine the source of the problem and set an ongoing treatment plan. Your treatment plan may range from conservative to possible surgical options, based on your needs and goals.
MLS Laser Therapy
Westside Podiatry is the one of the only podiatry practices in the Rochester area to offer MLS Laser Therapy to treat foot pain and other issues. MLS Laser Therapy uses light therapy to reduce pain and swelling in the foot and ankle. Treatment may help to speed up the healing process of acute foot care issues and control pain symptoms for your chronic foot care needs. Treatment options may require anywhere from 1 to 10 laser therapy sessions. Laser therapy may be suggested by your doctor as part of your regular foot care treatment plan.
